Art Through Experience

Immersive Exhibition
Salt Lake City, US, 2022

assigned work: gallery branding / exhibit branding / motion design for exterior walls / concept and development of the Timeline

Immersive exhibition featuring works by modernists such as Monet, Van Gogh, and Kandinsky. Presented through large-scale panoramic projections, the show invites visitors into dynamic visual environments. Created to launch the 10,000 sq. ft. Immersive Digital Exploratory Art (IDEA) space at The Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake City, in partnership with MagicSpace Entertainment and Universal Exhibition Group, who developed the immersive content. I was responsible for branding both the IDEA Space and the Art Through Experience exhibition, designing motion pieces for the Gallery and Entry Halls, producing a series of print and digital promotional materials, and conceptualizing and developing the Timeline.

Timeline—Composed of eight 75-inch TVs, we had no budget for an HD player/synchronizer, so I developed a composition in which each screen played its own loop. Even without perfect sync, the installation still conveyed the feel of a cohesive multi-video display.

IDEA Space Intro—Logo and motion design developed for the entrance of the museum’s new gallery.
