Marcia Roth

Design & Motion

Olá! I’m a Brazilian Art Director and Multimedia Designer based in Salt Lake City, UT, with extensive experience in graphic, motion, and exhibit design. My work spans artistic, cultural, commercial, and political projects, always focused on expanding access to art and information through clear, effective visual communication and positive social change.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated with curators on exhibitions, served as Art Director for two public TV channels in Brazil, and co-founded a post-production studio that later joined an audiovisual collective in Brasília-DF, where I was an active member. Most recently, I’ve been working as a Senior Communications Designer at a local museum, where I continue to explore the intersection of art, education, and community.

The IDA Documentary Awards is the world’s most prestigious event dedicated to the documentary genre, celebrating the year’s best nonfiction films and programs. I was invited by Creative Director Cameron Pierce to develop the motion design package, including animations and assemblies, based on the logo created internally by the association.
